Welcome
Venmar CES Carbon Challenge
Energy recovery ventilation has a significant, positive impact on climate change and resource depletion by reducing building emissions of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) through recycling waste energy and using it to precondition outdoor air to reduce heating, cooling and humidification loads.
This ticker indicates, in real time, the amount of CO2e emissions that have been prevented by using Venmar CES equipment since January 1, 2009:
As an organization, the challenge that we have undertaken has been to perform a detailed carbon inventory of our current emissions and commit to purchase enough carbon offsets to compensate for the difference between how much carbon we have saved versus how much carbon we have produced.
